SECONDARY CAMPUS STUDENT LEADERS 2023

Responsibility:

School Captains

The School Captain will act as the overall in-charge of the student body and therefore, will have the responsibility to:

• Supervise and coordinate all school activities along with other captains.
• Ensure pupil’s participation along with other captains in the programmes and activities designed for the students by the school.
• Assist the school in enforcing the school rules and regulations.
• Assist in the day to day running of the school.
• Report to the teachers on any sensitive matters and student behaviors.
• Organize meetings with other captains in carrying out the activities of the school.
• Manage students’ discipline and help in inculcating good behavior in them.
• Provide leadership to the student body.
• Exhibit exemplary role model and self-discipline.

Health Captain:

• Help the Health Committee in coordinating and conducting any health activity(ies)
• Distribute iron tablets on Thursday
• Maintain and keep the record of health club members
• Collect the iron tablets distribution record sheet at the end of each term and submit to the Health In-charge for further submission to the concerned authority.

Prayer Captain/ Cultural captain::

• To light butter lamp and offer water
• Conduct the morning and evening prayers.
• To lead prayers during the Prayer sessions
• Take attendance and submit the record to TODs.
• Assist cultural committee to keep record of cultural equipments
• Take care of cultural/chadri equipments and know where abouts of these equipments.
• Issue and collect cultural equipments to the participants with proper records
• Play a lead role to preserve our rich culture
• Inform cultural committee if any additional equipments are required
• Assist cultural committee as and when required

Games Captain:

• Assisting games coordinator in conducting games and sports
•  Assess the games field
• Carrying out activities as directed by games committee.

Class Captains:

The class captain will act as the overall in-charge of the class and coordinate all class activities. Accordingly, the range of responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure the participation of the class pupils in the programmes and activities designed for the class
• Supervise and ensure the achievement of the class pupils in all co and extra-curricular activities
• Ensure the cleanliness of the class
• Maintain the class absentee record
• Responsible for the care of the classroom furniture and class control
• Responsible for the formation of daily assembly lines and assembly attendance
• Report to class teacher on matters related to student behaviour and discipline
• Manage student discipline and inculcate good behaviour
• Provide leadership to the student body
• Exhibit exemplary role model and self-discipline
• Submit log book to Vice Principal on Fridays after the class hours

Scout Troop Leader Captain:

• Leading troops in scouts as per the scout norms
• Help Scouts masters in carrying out scouting activities
