AWARDS AND PRIZES
To promote and encourage students to strive for excellence, students who excel are recognized by awarding the following category of awards and certificates.
Certificate of Academic Excellence:
- Awarded to Each Section 1st,2nd and 3rd position holders with percentage greater than or equal to 75.
- Awarded to the whole section toppers with percentage greater than or equal to 75.
- Awarded to the subject toppers for classes PP-X for each level of class with marks greater than or equal to 75.
Certificate of Leadership:
This category of certificate will be awarded to the responsibility holders(captains) in appreciation of the responsibilities shouldered. Class Captains who served for one academic year are eligible for this certificate.
BCSE Academic Topper:
This category of certificate will be awarded to the students appearing as the whole Bhutan toppers in the BCSEA along with cash prize of Nu: 20,000/-, Nu: 15,000/- and Nu: 10,000/- respectively for standing first, second and third nationwide.
The Best Class of the Year Award:
This award will be based on the maximum points won by the class in each class level through class assessment, toilet assessment, games and sports and SUPW.
Games & Sports/Literary/Cultural Activities:
Certificates are awarded to students with outstanding performance in competitions such as games and sports, literary and cultural activities and special contribution in the above field.
Certificate of 100% Attendance:
This certificate is awarded to students achieving 100% attendance in the academic year including every period of a day. Students will be given consideration if they are on official leave.
Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award:
Certificate of outstanding volunteer will be awarded to a student who has made special contribution to the school and the community through any kind of voluntary initiative. “Student’s Initiative/ Voluntary Record – 2020 form” of the school diary will be used as the reference.
