About Us

At Lamgong Higher Secondary School, the pursuit of excellence in education has been our priority since our establishment in 1983. With unwavering support from the people of Lamgong Gewog and the Royal Government of Bhutan, we have come a long way in our journey of growth and transformation.

We began as a Primary School with 150 students and 7 teachers. Over the years, we evolved—becoming a Lower Secondary School in 2000, a Middle Secondary School in 2010, and an autonomous institution in July 2018, offering classes from PP to X. Today, we take great pride in having been upgraded to a Higher Secondary School in 2022.

Our school is nestled in Lamgong Gewog, Paro Dzongkhag, just 2 kilometers from Kyichu Lhakhang and directly opposite the Lamgong Gewog Administration Office. Surrounded by a rich cultural and natural environment, our campus provides an ideal setting for students to learn, grow, and excel.

As we continue our commitment to providing quality education, we warmly welcome students to be part of our journey. Join us in our pursuit of excellence as we shape the future of our students and contribute positively to our community.
